We provide the commercial real estate industry with professional opinions regarding the physical condition of existing buildings including repair/replacement recommendations and opinions of probable costs. 

Since 2013, we have reviewed more than 150 million square feet in over 1,900 buildings in 40 cities across North America.


Whether we are called upon to review a single property in a remote small town or a multi-building portfolio across North America, we are capable of mobilizing large teams very quickly with local alliance partners and specialist sub-consultants.

Managing Principal Jim Whalen has prepared more than 1,500 Building Condition Assessment (BCA) reports for some of the largest real estate transactions in North America including Dream’s acquisition of Scotia Plaza, O&Y’s sale of 23 office buildings to Brookfield, Oxford’s disposition of partial ownership of 24 office/retail buildings to CPPIB and Cadillac Fairview’s asset management of their 40-property national office and retail portfolio.
