Scope of Services

The purpose of our building condition assessments is to document the existing condition of a property and to identify and quantify major defects in materials or systems that might significantly affect the value of the property over the next 10 years.

 

The scope of our work includes a review of available construction documents and reports, visual inspections by professional engineers and architects to observe and document existing conditions and interviews with property management and maintenance personnel.  Our work does not include any testing of the building systems or components or calculations to confirm the adequacy of the original design.
